It is a pre-release, GitHub-only jar and intentionally **replaces** vanilla Immersive Portals (same modid) — never install both. Do not add the Modrinth "Immersive Portals x Sable Bridge" — it is deprecated and incompatible with Sable 2.x; IPSable supersedes it. ## World generation (both packs, NEW worlds only) The overworld is overhauled for a realistic, "real world server" feel: - **Terralith 2.6.2** — ~100 new biomes (realistic + light fantasy) using only vanilla blocks, plus immersive structures. *Stardust Labs license*: usable in a modpack unmodified with credit. - **Tectonic 3.0.26** (MIT) — grander, more varied terrain shaping. - **Continents 1.1.12** — reshapes the world into continents separated by large oceans and island chains. *Stardust Labs license* (credit required). - All three depend on **Lithostitched** (already in the pack). > **Important:** worldgen only applies to **newly generated chunks**. Existing > worlds will not change — start a fresh singleplayer world (or new server seed) > to see the continents/biomes. ## Bundled shader & resource packs (client-only) - **Shader pack: MakeUp Ultra Fast v8.6g** (LGPL-3.0) — bundled in `shaderpacks/`, auto-loaded by Iris. Best quality/performance across GPU tiers. Complementary Reimagined is **ARR** so it can't be bundled — it stays an optional manual download (see `shaderpacks/README.md`). - **Resource pack: Vanilla Live 2.0.0** (CC-BY-SA-4.0) — bundled in `resourcepacks/`, force-enabled via **Resource Pack Overrides** (MPL-2.0, `config/resourcepackoverrides.json`). ## FTB Quests guidance The **Protocol Tome** (`scicraft:protocol_tome`) is given once on first login; right-clicking it opens the FTB Quests guidance book (server → client packet via KubeJS → `FTBQuestsClient.openGui()`). The quest book is also reachable via the FTB Library sidebar button and keybind. Quest files ship in both packs under `config/ftbquests/quests/` (server-authoritative). ## Pause-menu / ESC cleanliness (client config overrides) The pause screen can get cluttered by mod config buttons. Shipped overrides in `client_pack/config/`: - `create-client.toml` → `ingameMenuConfigButtonRow = 0` hides Create's in-game menu button (Create config is still reachable from the main menu). - `supplementaries-client.toml` → `configs_button = false` hides Supplementaries' Quark-style config button. FTB Quests/Chunks, JourneyMap, and Inventory Profiles Next do **not** add pause-menu buttons (their buttons live on inventory/options screens) — no config needed there. ## Compatibility notes (verified 2026-08) - **The Void Dimension 0.0.1** hard-requires **World Portal** (and Dimension Fixer). World Portal (`side = "server"`) is bundled in both packs so the dimension boots and is reachable in SP and MP. - **World Portal ships patched** (EntityLMixin stripped — it hard-conflicts with Sable's entity mixins on dedicated servers). See `tools/patches/` and the "Patched jars" table in `docs/server.md`. - **Create Ore Excavation ships patched**: its KubeJS plugin races kubejs-create to register a `ProcessingOutput` type-wrapper (guard flag is set in the @Mod constructor while KubeJS runs plugin callbacks during its own construction → nondeterministic boot crash). The patch removes COE's guarded registration; kubejs-create remains the wrapper provider. - **Create addon libs** (all present): RPL (Big Cannons), Kotlin for Forge (Slice & Dice, Jetpack), Mechanicals Lib (Mechanical Extruder), Architectury (Goggles). Flywheel is bundled inside Create — do **not** add a standalone Flywheel. - **Mekanism Covers 1.3-BETA** has an unfixed Sodium mixin crash; mitigated by `mekanismcovers.json` (`disableAdvancedCoverRendering: true`). If crashes persist, remove the mod (it is abandoned). - **Known soft-conflict watchlist** (test before relying on, no fix shipped): IPSable + Stellar View in space dimensions (possible sky artifacts); Dimensional Doors + Sable physics sub-levels (rifts/doors may misbehave near physics ships).
